Tip #1:

Fetch Rewards is a simple app and doesn't take long for you to learn how to use it. You only need to click on the camera on the app and take a photo of your grocery receipt and send it.

Fetch Rewards' algorithm does all the work of identifying any participating brands that appear on your receipt and issues points according to the cost of the product. They often have 'special offer' opportunities as well, where you can earn bonus points!

Afterward, you can redeem your points and claim your rewards. In the beginning, you can get 750 free points for your first receipt. Then it goes down you to an average of 25 points per receipt (keep in mind, it does depend on the number of participating brands found on your receipt).

You need at least 3,000 points to redeem a $3 gift card from popular retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The max amount of points you can redeem is 50,000 for a $50 gift card.

Extra points if you refer friends or family for both you and every person you refer!

Tip #2:

CheckPoints is similar to Fetch Rewards, but it has more options for you to earn points by taking surveys, completing offers, and so much more.

It’s not as easy to learn the first time you use it. For instance, to scan a receipt you need to choose the store from the available list (unlike Fetch Rewards). If your store isn't available, you can select 'Other Retailers' and hope for the best. But once you get the hang of it, you will like it!

To submit your receipt, you have to click on 'Scan Receipts' and then choose 'Regular Receipts' and select the store that you have your receipt belongs to.

You earn a standard of 5 points for each receipt unless it's a High-Value Receipt (for which you have to link your spending accounts).

The least amount of points you need to redeem a $1 gift card from any retailer like Amazon, GameStop, and Walmart is 335 points. The max amount of points you can redeem is 8,375 points for a $25 gift card.
